Cecelia A. McClellan, 98 of Toledo, OH, died Friday, September 4, 2015. Born May 16, 1917 in Temperance, MI, she was the daughter of Adolph and Lydia (Dezelle) Cousino. A 1934 graduate of Central Catholic High School, She married Paul McClellan on May 28, 1938 in Rosary Cathedral. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2007. Cecelia was employed by Dr. Joseph Hertzberg, M.D. in Toledo for 25 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Toledo and was a former member of St. James Catholic Church in Toledo, where she was active in the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
She is survived by her loving son, Michael (Sara) McClellan; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Deutschman, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 4227 Bellevue Rd., Toledo, OH 43613, where she will lie in state after 9:00 am.
